It’s a good idea to use it once a year, check the level and the pressure of your fire extinguisher. Just look at the gauge to make sure it is in the full mark. If it is not, either get it reserviced or buy a new one. It’s easier to go ahead and purchase a new one, it costs about the same. Fire extinguishers are really inexpensive and well worth it for the house.
